Ricky "Geno" Peoples was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He started drawing charcoal portraits in 1992 for friends and family. After investing a few years in that medium he moved to pastel portraits and paintings.
His great ability to draw and paint in pastel created some wonderful life-like portraits of some of our greatest celebrities. Two of Geno's pastel celebrity portraits, Alan Jackson and George Jones, are actually being displayed in the celebrity's homes.
About three years ago Geno wanted to expand his painting ability even further by moving to acrylic paint. He realized very quickly that this medium was his true passion. His unique techniques gives acrylic painting an almost airbrush look.
